Welcome to my NEW online 'BUTiQ'. On these pages you will find my avant-garde (bespoke haurte couture) designs. All of these are examples of one off creations. Browse for inspiration, and contact me if you are looking for a personal, unique design for any occasion. Please refer to my separate 'BUTiQ 'Prêt-à-Porter' pages for my limited edition ready-to-wear' lines.

HAUTE COUTURE French for ‘high-sewing’ or ‘high dressmaking’. ‘Haute’ stands for high or elegant and ‘Couture’ for sewing so the two imply creativity, extreme attention to details, hand-executed techniques, use of the finest fabrics, perfect fit, sound engineering, and technical perfection.

BESPOKE English term for clothing made at a customer's request, and exactly to the customer's specification. It also describes a high degree of customisation, and involvement of the end-user, in the production of the good. Bespoke clothing is created without use of a pre-existing pattern, differentiating it from made to measure, which alters a pattern to fit the customer. From the word bespeak, meaning to ask for or order something. Have its roots in Saville Row, dating from the 17th century when tailors held the full lengths of cloth on their premises. When a customer would choose a length of cloth, it was said to have 'been spoken for."

PYROMANIA is the new concept collection I am currently working on with a view to releasing the first completed designs at London Fashion Week - Fashion Mavericks in September. My PYROMANIA creations are 'hand-made' and 'ready-to-wear' samples, developed from some of my successful 'Four Seasons' haute couture designs. They will subsequently be manufactured in the United Kingdom as limited edition lines, available initailly from my new online BUTiQ.
